Introducing OpenStreetBrowser 2.0
Stephan Plepelits, OpenStreetBrowser ![]()
Details about the talk:
Since autumn 2008 I'm working on OpenStreetBrowser, the application to "browse" the OpenStreetMap content. Most of you might already know it. Early 2010 I decided on a redesign of the application: New database structure, new API, user-created categories. Later a plugin-system followed suit.
In this talk I will present the most important (new) features, some of the troubles I had to go through and rant about annoyances of the current ecosystem of OpenStreetMap.
