Details about the talk:
Mapstraction is an open source javscript library that allows developers to build their service independently of the underlying map library used (cloudmade, google, yandex, bing, etc).

Mapstraction is a good bridge technology for those who need to rely on proprietary mapping services, but would like to eventually make move to OSM. This talk will be an overview of what mapstraction is, the history of the project, current status with live examples, and explain how you can get involved.

Details about the speaker:
co-founder of Nestoria, prior to that software developer at yahoo! for 5 years (I was the first developer at yahoo.de). Speaker at SOTM 2008, 2009
